To begin, we will have an introductory meeting together to see if our services will meet your needs. The following items are included in the birthing doula services: 

• Consistent communication via email or phone call 
• Local in-person/virtual prenatal meetings to address your expectations including assisting you in creating a birth plan if desired.
• Full support during labor, birth, and initial breast/bottle feeding
• Family support and coaching during the birthing/postpartum process 
• Documented birthing events in short story format 
• Up to two postpartum meetings to assist in mother and new born care
• Continual availability through email to answer questions including after postpartum

Services for birth doula are charged $2,500. Payment details will be reviewed in the introductory meeting and in contract. 

Following up on the birthing experience, we will have an introductory meeting together to see if our services will meet your needs. The following items are included in the postpartum doula services: 

• Consistent Communication via email or phone call 
• Local in-person/virtual meetings to discuss your personal needs
• Full support in breast/bottle feeding, family adjustments, and emotional support / physical recovery from birth 
• Evidence based education and coaching coping skills for new parents and make appropriate referrals when needed 
• Support in processing the birthing event 
• A resource for additional support as needed 
• Newborn care: Diapering, baby wearing, baths, swaddling, infant soothing
• Mom/Family care: Taking care of baby while Mom naps, showers, eats
• Light assistance with household tidying, meal prep and laundry 
• Overnight care offered upon request and depending on availability.

POSTPARTUM DOULA FEES

          * $45/hr daytime hourly rate (Minimum of 4 hours)

          * $55/hr evening & overnight hourly rate (Minimum of 8 hours for overnight. Latest start     time at 9pm. Travelling distance will be a significant determining factor)

          * $200 non refundable retainer fee when you decide to retain Agatha Ekwam-Mensah as the postpartum doula. The doula is considered hired after this fee is paid. This fee is applied to your total balance.

          * All fees are to be paid in full before services are rendered.
